Got this announcement via email this afternoon - first "official" Oktoberfest event in Toronto in quite some time, as far as I can recall...
Toronto Oktoberfest
St. Lawrence Market North Building - 92 Front St. E.
This year, Toronto will join in a 200 year old Bavarian celebration by presenting Toronto Oktoberfest. Inspired by tradition, Toronto Oktoberfest will deliver an authentic festhalle experience through authentic food, bier, sekt and merriment. Toronto Oktoberfest will deliver a truly captivating experience complete with oompah bands, Bavarian dancers, lederhosen and dirndls, Bavarian Strongman, Miss Oktoberfest, blowing of the horn and much more.
Schedule Of Events:
Thursday October 4th 2012
Tapping of the Keg - 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm - $20
Rock Thanksgiving - 8:30 pm to 1:00 am - $25
Friday October 5th 2012
Bavarian Happy Hour - 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm - $20
Oktoberfest Closing Party - 8:30 pm to 1:00 am - $25
All tickets include a free bier or bier stein
