Maybe the Samuel Smith Winter Welcome, nice table topper for Christmas.
The OCB worth a look as well as the European Beer Mixed Pack.
What no Corona? Bud Light Lime instead?
Maybe wait for the Winter Warmers releases, kinda blew the budget on the Autumn releases.
Good job Greg! |

| St Peters Winter Ale has been around the past two years, hasn't it? |

I've still not tried the six Biere de Boucanier Ales from Van Steenberge - who also make the pretty okay Exclusive Belgiums Ales pack. I'm kind of less Belgium-y these past few years, especally for stuff that is not standout.
But I'm always happy to drink a Maredsous, and the Ales of Scotland are a tasty deal for ten bucks, no? _________________ In Beerum Veritas " ...John Malkovich ... mere mortal, or scarf-healing secret super power?" |

Back in Ontario for Christmas, so I'm looking forward to several packs. I'm especially looking forward to the Hirschbrau because I enjoyed the Doppelhirsch a few years back and want to try more from them and the St. Peters, simply because I've dug almost everything they've done and would drink them all again.
The La Chouffe is an awesome beer that, I assume, is part of the winter warmers. Had the Estrella Inedit about a month ago. If you like your Belgain wit's with a big helping of grainy euro-lager, you'll love it. If not, save your cash. |

Absolutely! I still have a couple bottles... really like that brew... though last year it seemed a touch mellower (and I like bold flavour). |

St. Peter's was good last year but it tasted "old" or just muted all around.
I was actually disappointed with the Samuel Smiths Winter Welcome.
I really hope they bring back the Samuel Smiths Russian Imperial Stout. That beer is solid! _________________ enjoi |

I highly doubt lcbo will carry this for their gift packs but would love to get my hands on the Parra edition. Anybody know if a retailer in Buffalo has one?

Sad Affligem and Westmalle didn't make the gift pack cut this year. At least I can still get some Gulden Draak. |

Many are now showing up, with Hirschbrau pack in my hand (Doppelbock / Zwickel / Dortmunder-Helles.)
Save flip-top bottles for home brewers you know (if you like them.) _________________ In Beerum Veritas " ...John Malkovich ... mere mortal, or scarf-healing secret super power?" |

I could trade you a couple capped ones for a six pack of swing tops _________________ "Everything ... is happening" - Bob Cole |

There must be more than 1 Hirschbrau pack because I saw the one you bought and it didn't appear to have a mug with it, did it? I don't even think the # was 189480. This is the one I saw:
BAVARIAN ALPS 3 COLLECTORS BOTTLE GIFT PACK, LCBO Item # 189506, $ 12.95 in all cities.
Anyways I picked up the:
St. Peter's Winter Ale
Samuel Smith's Winter Welcome
La Chouffe Golden Ale
This store must have just got their shipment in because there were boxes everywhere, I was numbed. Must go back later for some gift sets , only so much you can carry. |

Yeah, verging on a little expensive for no mug.
It's more per bottle than the flagship Hoss Brau "Hirsch Doppelbock Stout" was @ $3.75. Not by much but the mug would be nice for the little extra ka-ching.
PS: I didn't call it a 'Stout', the LC did. _________________ In Beerum Veritas " ...John Malkovich ... mere mortal, or scarf-healing secret super power?" |
