| I believe that is a work in progress. The stage of progress I don't know (others here do). |

| Josh is correct, it is a work in progress. When launched, you will be able to find Smokeless Joe online at Smokelessjoe.ca. |

| Smuttynose now at Smokeless. Smokeless Joe now has Shoals Pale Ale, Old Brown Dog, Portsmouth Lager, Octoberfest and Kolsch from the tiny New England brewery. |

The Old Brown Dog is a really good, interesting brown ale, and the Shoals Pale is a classic American IPA (Would that make it the only one you could buy in the city? I wouldnt call the Anchor Liberty Ale an IPA)

| I wouldn't call Shoal's an IPA either, not by a country mile. English Pale, but made with American hops. Along with Geary's Hampshire, is one of the most quintessential "New England" beers I've ever had. Nobody's going to confuse this for Pike IPA any time soon. |

Shoals is in fact their attempt at an English style Pale Ale made with Chinook and Cascade, according to their website which you can visit at http://www.smuttynose.com.

Well, call it what you will, but the american hops are so prominent that it's as close to an American IPA as you will see 'round these parts |

Well...the only important thing to us at Esprit Agencies is that you enjoy our products so you can call it whatever you want.

| One other thing "A", next March's LCBO Pale Ale and Bitter promotion will include the Victory Hopdevil India Pale Ale from Pennsylvania so you'll have something to compare the Shoals to. |

True, very true. Its certainly a quite enjoyable beer!
As for the HopDevil, I compared it to one that I had sitting at home. No comparison, the HopDevil wins out. (Hoping to pick up some fresh Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale this weekend, which is truely the crowning glory in American IPAs in my opinion...)

Have you tried Rogue Chocolate Stout at Joe's? Whoa momma! Chocolate truffles in a glass balanced by 68IBU. Outstanding. The Brown Dog is really interesting too. Tastes and smell like a "digestive biscuit". I was in Toronto on the 13th of Nov. and stopped in at Joe's for a "snack". Best thing I did all day!
By the by, I dropped off some Black Irish Plain Porter too. It should be on draught soon. Its 45 IBU, bittered with Target hops. I use pale ale, chocolate, and crystal malts, along with a bit of roast barley. Its 4.5% abv. Let me know what you think, please? |

Chris, you can get the Rogue Hazelnut Brown at Smokeless so you don't have to go to Buffalo! We dropped some off recently along with McRogue Scotch Ale.
