| Just took a look at the latest OCB letter and Beau's is coming out with a "full flavoured ale" called Van Kleeck Ale. Are you around Steve??? Anyone else hear anything? |

SWEET!
Van Kleeck Ale
A Strong IPA, loyal to the crown. This is our hoppiest beer, made with a decidedly British flavour profile, and named after the founder of our village, a noted Loyalist. Incredibly bitter while still in balance, expect this beer to kick you in the teeth on the way down. Like all our beer, the Van Kleeck Ale is made with certified organic malts and local spring water.
Love you Beaus! |

| Wow, it seems like the brewers are listening...any chance this will make its way to the LCBO? |

I must say that I've been very happy with the Beau's lineup. It seems that they ARE in fact listening to us beer geeks, or at least to a point. I'll be in Ottawa again on April 30 for one week, so I'll get out to the brewery for sure. _________________ You're still a homo. |

| Well only Lugtread has been in the LCBO, the other brews have all been seasonal available from the brewery and various restaurants around town. The OCB still lists the Night Mare Zen and Festivale, so I'm not sure whether the Van Kleeck will be a regular brew or not, I doubt it will replace the Bogwater. |

We brewed the first batch on Saturday, and we're pretty excited about it. We're trying to get our seasonals into the LCBO, but it is very difficult for a small brewer like us to get seasonals into the LCBO quickly - it needs to be submitted for approval about a year in advance and we decided to make our Spring Seasonal an IPA about 3 weeks ago.
Our plan however is to eventually get all our seasonals into the LCBOs in Eastern Ontario.
...And thanks guys for the kudos, it means a lot! |

| Nice. Any idea when it will be available for purchase or should I just keep an eye on the website? |

| Should be sometime in mid-April. We wanted to release this a bit sooner, but we needed our new tanks to come in before we could brew anymore seasonals...this is also why our BogWater sold out so darn fast. With our first new tank in now and 3 more arriving Monday, we figured we could get away with starting up again. |

| We'll be brewing a seasonal every 3 weeks now and switching over our seasonals on the equinoxes (is that a word?), so you should still be in time. |

Was out at the Beau's brewery today with my dad, and had a great tour with some very friendly people. I have a poor memory, so no names come to mind, but thanks to all. My dad has never seen the inside of a brewery, or any explanations on how it all comes together, so he had a blast! Picked up a few bottles of the "Festivale" seasonal, and it was pretty tasty! And a glass, since my last one broke. |
