Was a great event, great beers and food in a really nice space, could do with a few more tables and chairs . _________________ "Everything ... is happening" - Bob Cole |

Stay tuned for more details, it should be a fun one. |

We'll have to see about the blueberry food but will definitely have blueberry beer.
Food will be from Fidel Gastro & Babi&Co. |

Thanks for everyone who came out yesterday to the BB.
Next one up on September 23rd should be a good one - we've got in both Indie Alehouse & Bellwoods Brewery. Plus, we have the debut of a special beer that we brewed in conjunction with Indie and The Grid. It's a beer "made from our own backyard" with ingredients local to Toronto. |

Yes indeed, and a bit larger than the ones we've done in Toronto. Trying to corral in as many Ottawa area breweries as possible.
Beau's, Beyond the Pale, Hogsback, Broadhead, Big Rig all in. Will post up more soon. |

I hope everyone can make it out on Sunday, it's going to be a great day with a ton of interesting beers from Indie & Bellwoods. We also have a new relationship with Cask Days whereby we'll have some casks at our upcoming BB events - AND we'll have a Brewer's Backyard section at Cask Days. Stay tuned for more on that.
We'll have pulled pork sandwiches from Indie & Guy Rawlings is going to make up some original creations inspired by the beer ingredients from Bellwoods.
And for our Ottawa friends, our Brewery Market there is looking great - I believe we have just about every brewery in the Ottawa area confirmed, as Cassel & Mill Street are also in on top of everyone else.
Brewer's Backyard - Sunday Sept 23, 12-4pm @ Brickworks
Brewery Market - Sat Oct 13, 12-8pm @ 1000 Wellington West, Ottawa |

I'd just like to say this Indie Ale House Breakfast Porter is fantastic!
I hope this is/becomes a regularly available beer. |

Pretty sure it was one of the very first Indie beers released last year when they did a couple of preview batches at Niagara College, so I expect it'll be a regular or semi-regular brand once the brewpub opens. |

I remember it at one of their launches at Burger Bar last year - it was pretty great stuff! _________________ "What can you say about Pabst Blue Ribbon that Dennis Hopper hasn’t screamed in the middle of an ether binge?" - Jordan St. John |

Last Brewer's Backyard of the year is coming up on Monday, October 8th.
It's an Oktoberfest party, and we'll be having Beau's Brewery in with Lug Tread, Night Marzen, Weiss O'Lantern and up to 6 more of their special Oktoberfest brews available. For those who were out in Vankleek you'll know that this year's batch of Ofest brews were great.
We'll also have sausages grilled up by WVRST. Cask Days will be part of the fun again with ticket giveaways to their big event at the end of the month.
12-4pm at Brick Works, hope to see you there!
