Figured I'd start a thread for beer related items if that is okay?
I have a variety of stuff:
- Labatt X, Y, Copper bottles unopened
- Old bottles from Upper Canada brewing, Labatt Blue, others.
- Misc. paper products including letters, annual reports, Canadian Brewerianist newsletters etc.
- Toronto's Own laminated Plaque/poster
-Other stuff as I sort through it.
Message me if you are interested.

| Troy is a big collector, he's been posting a bunch of stuff on his blog/facebook pages. He apparently has a ton of growlers which is possibly the most space taking thing to collect! |

I've got some stuff that my wife despises and could probably trade for some beer. I'm in Ottawa. Will post a list or pictures in March if you're interested. _________________ Ian Guénard

| I don't have really anything to trade. But I have found the best place to get free beer memorbilia (at least new stuff) is from breweries facebook pages. I have gotten a ton of free stuff off of facebook through contests and giveaways. The best piece I have probably being a Fuller's wooden wall clock that I won playing their online trivia game. British breweries seem really good for this, even though most of the contests say that they are open only to residents of the UK, they will still send stuff to Canada. |

I wish I collected my bottles of the beers I've reviewed. I started to but living at home with the parents. My mother got tired of seeing the boxes in the basement. Had to get rid of them. I wanted them for when I got my house and bar in the basement as a border around the ceiling. |

I used to have an obsession with collecting bottles. I still even save a few as "decorations". However the collection soon went from being "cool" to being obsessive. I ended up deciding to just photograph each bottle (alongside a poured glass of the beer) and keeping a collection of photos. It's kinda fun to post photos with the bottle, proper glassware and matching coasters etc. Some people save the labels but you can't do this for cans and certain bottles. Sometimes I wish I still had all my bottles but I've posted all the photos (hundreds of them) to Facebook where all my friends can enjoy the collection. Also when reconnecting with people I have not seen in years it's an easy conversation starter for them to comment on either via. Facebook or in person.
Oh and the other added bonus of photos is you can keep a record of any bottles you have at a pub or internationally that you don't want to carry home. |

Just saw this comment now, that is exactly what I ended up choosing to do. The photo's at the beggining weren't the best but after collecting the proper glassware like you mentioned and using a decent camera the photo's are a great collection and do gather intrest and converstation starters when at bbq's or parties with people you havent seen in a while but have on fb. |

| I have three Niagara's Best growlers. (One of which has a minor chip on the lip other two are fine). I live downtown Toronto but will be in the Guelph area within the next month or two. PM if interested. |

That's hardcore! I gave up on bottles due to space and started collecting caps... but I think I disposed of them before the big move. |
