Re: Shake Shack Toronto

I like Bellwoods quite a bit.

I'm happy for them, but my first thought was that one of the big guys is going to buy them, or at least a 24.5% share.

Re: Vermont

Just came back from a trip out that way. Did the usual places (Hill/Alchemist/Lawson's/Foam) Some random thoughts on places less talked about elsewhere: Kraemer and Kin: Cans available throughout the state, actual taproom in the Alburgh golf course. Focus seems to be on traditional styles. Standout...

Re: Beer in Convenience Stores coming early

Added: I thought about how the Libs could attack Ford for the big fee, but it hits less hard because it was the Libs that made this poor contract. Politics aside, remember the "poor contract" was a part of what brought beer to grocery stores in the first place. Everyone pretty much loves ...

Re: Beer in Convenience Stores coming early

I'm assuming the expedition of this was for political purposes. Perhaps not a bad call in that regard, but I have spent less than $20 at the Beer Store in my entire life, and hundreds of millions more of taxpayer funds isn't my cup of tea. Added: I thought about how the Libs could attack Ford for th...

Re: Spring Release ???

Just picked some up. I hope it's as good as so many have said. Tangential, but just experienced by far the most helpful LCBO employee in my entire adult life. They must be new. 24 years as an employee, second day as assistant manager. Hopefully he becomes CEO one day and has no tolerance for stupid...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

This is kind of the opposite of a new arrival, but I contacted the agent that deals with Boon and they said the LCBO rejected their order(?) for a summer shipment. I'm not sure the mechanics behind this, but they sold really well, certainly faster than similar stuff. Well, this Boon lover is tremen...

Re: Sierra Nevada Pale Ale

Although it has been discontinued, it seemingly has been restocked at a bunch of stores. I assume not new stuff, but maybe they found a few crates in the back room.

Re: Zwanze

I debated getting a sixer of something, but I spent too much already. That Tilquin cognac was so good.

Besides the two rare Loons, there was an Antidoot that was also $19 for 3 ounces.

Re: Booze in Toronto Parks - 2023 Pilot Program

The parks not included are commonly because of NIMBY councillors and residents.

The city does have a generic sign it uses that is less zazzy and more easy to miss.
