My one experience was pretty good. We made a reservation so there was no wait, the beer was great and the food was quite good. No complaints.

I will expand on my one line above. First, the bad: - The food was not only a huge letdown but also misadvertised. They claimed one price all-in and it was far from that. You got five one-bite samples (and you only got 5 if you got them before any sold out) and then had to pay for the rest. This eve...

For those that went, what does the following mean to you: "This year for the first time, we bring you the "ALL-IN" price which you will be able to sample approx. 100 different beers, great food, music, comedy, and unique entertainment all under one roof!" It certainly doesn't me...

but man, lots and lots of IPAs/hop-inspired beer. I know, thank goodness! Seriously though, no more then 20% of the beer were IPAs/hoppy beers. Not directed at anyone in particular but complaining about service at an event like the DdC event is pointless, they do their best with the staff they have and the room they have. The thistle-shape glassware comment is relevant, I guess we pay for that too and it's unusual, classy and functional. Again creates stong branding & product intrigue. The reason for the glass, in my opinion is, so that establishments charge you for a full pint even though it's not a pint glass....

Spearhead is, frustratingly, the most expensive Craft Beer in Ontario. It will certainly deter me from having as much of it as I'd like.
