When my wife visited Kenya in 2023 she brought back a bottle of Sand Trap, brewed by 254 Brewing. She found it in a grocery store.

They were putting the Porter Baltique on the shelf when I was in Toronto at the store on Bloor Street near Bay. I still cannot call this one up on the website either by name or item number. I took the employee's advice and bought two.

It did seem very exotic at the time, perhaps largely because one had to venture into Toronto to find it. I often wonder if I would like it as much if I had a chance to try it all these years later.

I visited the Brewhouse on Saturday (the 19th) and the 2022 version was on tap though the server cautioned it was running low. I asked whether there would be a release event for the 2024 installment like there had been before last year but he had no news to share either way. Perhaps it is too early.
