First brew of 2014 on Saturday night, hadn't brewed since November. Did a 2-row, rye, dark rye, and chocolate malt brew with some Columbus bittering and galaxy aroma hops.

pricey ($18.95) but i'm going to pick up a bottle or 2 today Anyone who complained about the pricing of the Beau's feature should be incensed at this price. For a brewery that (IMO) has not yet proven that they can produce above average barrel aged beers, this price is ridiculous. Yes, I got the re...

Is Goudenband in limited supply? It's at my local lcbo, should I be snapping this up quickly? Looks like most stores got 24, which would probably disappear quick. Great price. Most of Dundurn's supply in Hamilton was gone before it reached the shelf. Dundurn moves stock fast but Ancaster got a coup...

Just got back from a few days in Whistler/Vancouver, picked up a Phillips mix pack, mostly lagers - 78, blue buck, elsinore and slipstream. When I was in Vancouver, checked out the Craft Warehouse at 1st and Manitoba in the Olympic Village. Very nice and open, with over 100 beers on tap (they had so...

Picked up 2 Nickel Brook / Sawdust City "11/05" Barrel-Aged Barley Wines and had a sample at the brewery, tasted pretty nice, but seems to be pushing the upper envelope of Ontario prices at over $18 a 750 (not as pricey as Mill Street's and it did spend a year in a Buffalo Trace barrel).

Just checked the "Find the show" link, http://beergeeks.tv/find-the-show on the website, and it appears that not all ABC affiliates are picking the show up. I thankfully receive Spokane KXLY which is showing the program, but the Detroit feed I also receive, WXYZ isn't at all. The Buffalo ...

Re: you even thought you was getting ripped from it...

Smokin' Banana Peels sounds like a Frank Zappa reference ("Blue Light" on Tinseltown Rebellion.) That goofy dead old bastard . RIP. Zappa brews have had a litigious background, wasn't some brewery doing a brew for each album, until they had a disagreement with his wife and they stopped it...

I bought a case of chimay blue last night, and the online store inventory hasn't changed since yesterday. Must be some sort of glitch going on Another thing I noticed is that when they are holding a case for someone it still shows up in their inventory. I looked online at a Hamilton store last mont...
