Reworded: Beers of this style, at this cost, are EXACTLY what we need less of in Ontario. There are literally dozens of other pale lagers available in Ontario of better quality (in terms of flavour profile, mouthfeel etc). Why add to an already saturated market? At $3 bucks a can as well? I can pic...

Hey guys, Thanks very much for the kind words on the 100 Mile Lager and glad you enjoyed it. I'm one of the brewers for this beer. The other is a guy named Mike Duggan (you may have heard of him). It was no small task to see these beers become a reality. With sourcing hops from 9 small hop farms in ...

Good question! 8pm is the start time listed on Beau's website but it's pretty informal and all beers should be on tap when the bar opens at 5pm. No cover.

Whenever I hear of a new record set for taps it reminds me of the Charles Bamforth quote... when faced with such a selection he recommends "anything that comes in a bottle."

Just checked Beau's website and noticed HPH is no longer on the list?... I recall hearing that they were to have the beer on tap? In Toronto, Bryden's, Volo, The Only and Burger Bar have all had the beer on tap and are most likely almost out by now... The last keg (I'm aware of) will be tapped at Do...

Thanks. Very happy with how it turned out. It's dangerously drinkable for 8% abv with an intense hop flavour and solid malt backbone. It's on tap at Bar Volo right now and according to Beau's website can also be found (in very limited qty's) at these locations: - Hintonburg Public House (Ottawa, Dat...

Hi Jeff, I buy all my supplies there and they are excellent. Randy (the owner) will be able to help you out with whatever you need. You can buy one of those pre-hopped extract kits to start but if you really want to jump in and increase the chances of making a decent beer you might as well begin wit...

Hi Mark, Thanks for the tips. I think I got lucky as I didn't have time Fri to do a starter and had a small window yesterday to actually brew the Saison. I pitched the 565 directly into the wort, went out around 8pm and when I came home 5 hours later there was a nice krausen formed and visible airlo...
