I've had both Sang Noir and Sang Royal. I can't say I've had much experience with sours, but the general trend I've seen is a relatively small presence from the malt. Not so with Cascade, the malt is a big player alongside serious lactic and acetic acid. Sang Royal has a sweet cherry and port barrel...

It is definitely mislabelled BA Tempest. I know because I opened my only Goedenavondie-whatever-it's-called and it was a whiskey barrel aged stout.

I don't remember Tempest being as punchy or as viscous, but I should definitely revisit.
