Re: Any Ontario "nitro" stouts or esb's out there?

I don't think you can just hook up any porter or stout to a creamer tap and expect it to pour like St. Ambroise oatmeal stout or mill st cobblestone stout. Like take a keg of Great Lakes harry porter for example! If I'm wrong then my bad. Any brewers care to comment?

Any Ontario "nitro" stouts or esb's out there?

I'm looking for a nitro stout or esb on draught for a bar in Kingston. Are there any breweries doing this besides Mill Street and St. Ambroise?

Will be brewing in Bath. Great news for us. I too hope that they don't stick to safe styles. Here's hoping they do some "big" beers.

Money talks and it's all about the money. It's too bad. The best way to fight back in my opinion is to make it a "pr" thing. Maybe bringing banners to the game for some tv press? A group all wearing "where's my steam whistle beer" t shirts might get on the air ? Stuff like that. ...

"Beerology" by Mirella Amato

I don't see any recents postings on this so I thought I would bring it up.
I just got my copy of "beerology" in the mail and recommend grabbing a copy and support our local author. It's a great book (so far two chapters in).

The guys who own the Brooklyn also have a place on Princess called Alibi, which is only open at night and has similar great tap choices.

I'm really excited about stone city ales. The 4 beers they have lined up are called "ships in the night stout", "12 stars session ale", "uncharted IPA", and "whitecaps" a belgian style wheat beer. They will be doing growlers as well. So far my favorite beer ba...

Having worked at smokeless for countless years and having put so much of my heart into the place, it's sad to see the downward path it has taken. Joes health has not been well the past few years and has taken a toll on the business. For myself and all the other great staff who made it special and tr...

I have so many fond memories of this place. I was just seriously getting into beer around 2000 and was given the beer program at the Academy. Took off all the corporate taps and replaced them with local ones. Doing the Bartowl Awards with Cass. Lots of private order bottles. Three successful beer di...

Kingston Ontario Beer Bars?

So I am heading out to Kingston next week to explore the city and can't find any info on any beer bars (besides kingston brew pub). Does anyone know of any? I am really looking for something with lots of Ontario craft beer obviously if it exists.
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks,
Colin.
