Re: Montreal Atwater/Peluso haul

: Brewpub Brouhaha's Foret Noire - a Imperial cherry stout clocking in at 10.5 This is a seriously tasty beer. We got one over the Canada Day weekend and went back for another when we were in Montreal at the end of July. It tastes just like Black Forest cake! Man, I can't wait!!! Wish I'd bought a ...

Releases you're looking forward to...

Around this time of year I get a little "weissed" and "hopped" out and I start looking forward to fall and winter releases. What releases are you looking forward to the most in the coming months? Not just new stuff, but also old favourites that we only seem to get a few months a ...

Porn Loin is pretty lean so you wont be able to get lots of smoke on it withour drying it out. I've been smoking for quite a while and the fattier the better. Try ribs on for about 6 hours at 200-225. Pork sholder is great too but takes up to 16 hours. If you like salmon I have a killer salmon cure...

so I picked up a couple of bottles, and boy were you folks right...I guess I didn't know what to expect. I thought it would be a double maibock...It's not particularly bad, It's just really muddled...no flavour really comes out. Glad I only bought two bottles.

Certainly not worth the $9.

I don't care what kind of system we have, but I would rather have one that's looking towards growth and improvement and is committed to getting better beers inside this province, but also supports our local craft brewers. But isn't this exactly what the LCBO are doing? . It is what they're doing wh...

As a wedding present my wife (God, that still sounds weird) got me a Bradley Smoker...I'm so pumped!

Re: Montreal Atwater/Peluso haul

Thought I'd post on some of the stuff I brought back courtesy of Peluso and Atwater...Some old favs and new stuff... DDC - 4 pk of Equinox aux Printempts (maple scotch ale) - I think this is new! It is not new but it is a delicious beer. Nice haul! Yeah, I should've done my research on it...just re...

I really like the Quebec model...but I have to say, I don't think it's impossible to have similar choice with the LCBO...the LCBO is realizing this...craft beers are the biggest increase in their profits right now...Admit it...compare the seasonal releases of this past year with three years ago? Wou...

I have to be honest, not that I want to crap on "craft" breweries particularly local ones, but this discussion would be more interesting if the focus was on craft breweries rather than a commercial macros. All of our OCBs producce some good beers, but lets admit, there's been some misses. ...
