Re: Cask Days 2017

Some thoughts on Friday evening session: - I don't think the early access is worthwhile any longer. It used to be a very laid back hour but it was already rammed by 7:15 - the lounge ticket was worth it IMO. You could always get a seat and get away from the noise, and they provided a path to the rea...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

Living in Scarborough I was only really visiting Left Field every few weeks with it being a pretty short drive. I've started going to the Bellwoods now that they opened the Hafis shop but I totally forgot about Common Good and it's the nearest brewery to me. How's the quality there? Don't forget Mu...

Re: General LCBO Debate & Discussion Thread

Or maybe we've reassessed our costs and realized the beer cost us more than we originally thought. Also, many LCBOs at this time of year will put the beer on clearance. Guess who eats that clearance price? We do. Happy to hear you drink our cans however I'm sad to hear you think we're purposely try...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

Tempest is still a world class imperial stout. Maverick and Gose is by far the best Gose I've ever had.

They can still hit home runs on the specialty beers but the regular lineup is no Bueno :-)

Re: LCBO Autumn Craft Beer Release 2016

That's how Lagunitas describes it :) The beer was a mistake, they meant to brew Brown Shugga but ran out of ingredients. I'm surprised and delighted to find that description on an LCBO website!

Sucks is way better than Brown Shugga IMO...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

I've really been digging the CA Saint of Circumstance Citrus Blond Ale. Don't be fooled by the blonde ale moniker - in many ways this drinks like a juicy session pale, or a hoppy american wheat (think gumballhead). Its quite decently hoppy (Citra, Centennial, Amarillo). Perfect summer beer.

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

most expensive 6 pack in Ontario? Stone Coffee Milk Stout LCBO#: 443960 | 6 x 355 mL bottle $17.25 Probably, but still less per bottle than the Duvel Triple hop 4-pack. I wouldn't even think twice about the price of this years Duvel triple hop. It's fantastic and much better than last years hop pro...
