Considering I dont even see the hours listed on the website (am I just not seeing it?) an up to date tap list might be ambitious :)

Re: LCBO Online Exclusives

there are a whole bunch of online exclusives that are being sold as singles right now, that were previously on by the case of 24 or 6, all the Moor beers, Hitachino, Dunham No Tahoma, even some Oxbow I got all excited by that then realized many are low ABV beers released back in August or November....

Re: Wvrst to open on King West in TO

I agree more subways would great. The Downtown Relief Line should be a priority. Step 1 - Toll the DVP and the Gardiner to pay for it. Traffic in Toronto is going to be horrendous long before a DRL gets a shovel in the ground let alone finished. The King street changes costs next to nothing and can ...

Re: Stalwart Brewing beer removed by LCBO after one day on sale

It's a terrible decision, but the real problem is that it came late. If you want to be overly careful and ban the label, fine. But this was approved and yanked at the last minute. I'd be thinking about recouping costs in the courtroom. I am sure that any brewery thinking about suing the LCBO would ...

Is there a version of a label with that name that they would accept?

Re: CRAFT Beer Market - Toronto

I tried going in for a quick drink last Friday night after work. There was a ten person deep line up to TALK to the person about maybe getting a seat. I didn't stick around. In fairness i tried Batch and 3 Brasseurs on the way to my movie with similar results. I guess I should have known better for ...

Re: So is $3.75 for a 355ml can the new norm in east Toronto?

Definitely "standard" releases like Centennial can be had for around the buck-a-beer level all over the US, especially if there's a sale. Ontario has legally-mandated minimum prices, stunted distribution and competition which I think play a part in making cheap beer non-existent in the pr...

Re: So is $3.75 for a 355ml can the new norm in east Toronto?

I don't blame Brewers from capitalizing on beer 'tickers'. Personally I'm happy to pay a small premium to be able to buy a single vs. trying to force me to buy a 4 or 6pack. Drove me bonkers in Alberta this summer not being able to buy singles - I generally don't buy $12-16 six packs that I have ne...

Seems like a better deal to just show up at 6 and hope they arent sold out? Unless they are charging the same amount after 6.

Re: Cask Days 2017

I'll consider the lounge next year. I do value a place to sit and relax and the music is obnoxiously loud if you're too close to the DJ (yes, I'm fully aware that my transition to crusty old man is pretty much complete). I am also apparently a crusty old man, but it was WAY too loud period IMHO. Ev...

There's 200 awesome beers at a festival but you managed to drink 20 of the shitty ones because you took them as they came. Did you enjoy the festival? If so... good for you.
