Late to the party but I hit Lake Wilcox when I was there for a hockey tournament in the winter. Nice brewpub. I hit it on an open mic comedy night. It was a hilarious mess.

also The Beer Store has a new website.

I got this at the Lansdowne Ottawa growler fill. Nice little find. One of the few fruit beers I adore

hopefully to wider distribution than just Ottawa area stores...
Hopefully it won't be $4.50 or something.
Bet you $4.50 it will be.

If that is how you judge your drinking habits, you live a sad life.

Also I am an accountant. You are the reason I hate the stereotype that is associated with our profession.

Re: LCBO Summer Craft Beer Release 2017

I went into another LCBO last night and again found a broken 6. I took one bottle out to try again. This time no problem. Cashier hit one button on the cash, scanned and showed up as single bottle. I moved on with my life.

Re: LCBO Summer Craft Beer Release 2017

Is there an LCBO employee that can give me a single bottle code for the Anchor California Lager?

I went in and grabbed a bottle from an already broken 6 pack and they refused to sell it to me. I'd love to go back in next time and throw the code at them.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Ottawa and area help

Just to at to the above post. Call ahead at Dominion City and see what they have. Yes they have been killing it with IPA's but they are going fast, you might end up out there with their regular lineup, which is fairly pedestrian. BTP does have their pouring license now so you can go there for a pint.

Re: LCBO Online Exclusives

Moonlight is awesome. I've brought back a few bottles in my trips to the US. Great that I'll be able to get it here now. I'll easy grab a couple cases a year. Always to open one of these up at a dinner party.

Re: LCBO Autumn Craft Beer Release 2016

It's good. It's not mindblowing as if it were fresh. But it's a unique beer with a super hoppy malted beer. And with no 666 to compete, it's in a category all it's own. I personally love this beer. I blasted through my four pack in a weekend and bought more.
