Re: Coming Soon to the LCBO
Wow! Regarding the Founders issue...while I don’t generally like to get involved in these type of discussions on a beer page (it’s one of the reasons I come here), I will say this: judging companies and making purchasing decisions on moral/ethical grounds can be a very slippery slope. Own any Apple...

Re: A Night with Hill Farmstead & Radical Road
Yeah, I assumed the latter as well...and it doesn't bother me at all. Not too familiar with the finer points of Ontario booze laws but someone pointed out earlier today on twiter that the latter practice is illegal - i.e. they cannot sell bottles they "brought back" from a trip to another...

Re: LCBO Online Exclusives
Echoing everyone else: I'm in for a couple of bottles of 3F and/or any of the Cascades if anyone is looking to sell some of their case. I'm in downtown Toronto.

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS
I still think the GBS 25th anniversary BBA RIS is one of the best beers I've ever tasted. Maybe it just hits all the right taste notes for me. BOYD is one of my other favourites and I really enjoy Skeleton Key and (at least early batches) of Winey Bastard, but none of those are BBA beers...so while ...

Re: Coming Soon to the LCBO
there are very few world class barrel-aged stouts coming out of ontario. BOYD and Skeleton Key (recent batches) are pretty much the entire list. some vintages of Winey Bastard as well, perhaps. we're so bloody behind on making great barrel-aged beer, it's ridiculous Yes, this. Although I haven't tr...

Re: Coming Soon to the LCBO
Volume doesn't really mean anything to me if they're snapped up before I even leave work. Almost 7% of the GTA allotment just sold out in less than a day at one store. I think that's cause for concern. Ya, basically this...though I didn't realize that ON was receiving that many bottles. For some re...

Re: Coming Soon to the LCBO
Ugh, that's what I'm afraid of. I want to grab a dozen, but I don't think I can make it to Summerhill until around 7 tonight.

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS
Any word on when KBS will be on shelves yet? Summerhill and Forest Hill got a case or two in yesterday but it was sold out before noon today when I checked. Stock numbers on the website and app seem to be delayed by at least 4 hours. I'm sure it'll show up in much larger numbers shortly. Ok, cool, ...

Funny, I just had the same thought about Cascade -- one of my favourite breweries in NA. I can't even imagine that those are gonna retail for here.

Re: Cask Days 2016
I went with a list of about 25 beers that I wanted to try and all but two of them had sold out by the start of last night's session. No one's fault, of course, but I'm kicking myself for not going on Friday now.
