Great news. Founders ipa is an excellent product with great shelf life.

I grabbed a bottle of double hop head last night in st catharines. very fresh bottles. Much better than past ones i have tried.

Havent had anything from this brewery before. I will be trying all I can get my hands on.

brewed a dopple bock a few months ago. came out at 1090 and finished at 1020. Malt bill was floor malted pilsner, munich, munich 2, carahell, and a touch of carafa for color. decided to eis a gallon of it. ended up with 700ml of water left after freezing and racking.

oak aged winter warmer right now. marris otter, c120, and black patent are the grains. than added some molasses, cinnamon, ginger, and bourbon soaked oak chips. Started out kind of rough, but is starting to taste really good right now.

I frequent the syndicate in st catharines often. The pre fixed menu is 3 courses for @20 and is a hell of a deal. My favourite off the menu is the lamb shank. drinking a homebrewed tripple bottle conditioned with brett from a bottle of goose island matilda. Some carbonation, but still has a ways to go.
