broken thermometer (need to buy replacement downtown TO)

So i'm an idiot and cracked my thermometer. I'm hoping to do a brew tomorrow so I'm in a bit of a time crunch. I live down town Toronto (right next to Steam Whistle) and don't drive a car. Does anyone know a store I can swing by tomorrow morning to pick up a spare thermometer? I've checked google an...

I wish I collected my bottles of the beers I've reviewed. I started to but living at home with the parents. My mother got tired of seeing the boxes in the basement. Had to get rid of them. I wanted them for when I got my house and bar in the basement as a border around the ceiling. I used to have a...

Looks like I'm late to the party but...Just got back from Guelph this morning. Brought with me 2 leftover cans of their new one-off "India Brown ale" (it does not appear to be on RateBeer yet) and two cans of the imperial stout. Planned on bringing more but it all got consumed this weekend...

My spring graduation is my justification for going all out with this otherwise very expensive release...Also hoping to track down some Westvletern 12 and perhaps a few other goodies. Couple buddies from my class are also pretty into beer.

Gotta say--I enjoyed this beer. It's a bit expensive but if you're sharing with friends and family it's well worth it. Big fan of the new label. Bottle looks fantastic along with the (fall) Harvest Ale. Not the biggest fan of the Summer Weiss label though. I'd say it's probably the best imperial sto...

Why can't the majority of LCBO employees be even slightly trained to do their job properly? I've got no complaints....Normally I can get any open-case six pack bottle for $2. I've picked up Rogue Dead Guy and bought it for $2 a bottle...so long as I buy under six bottles I get a discount. On the ot...

the bottle of Peche i had last night had similar issues, its a problem that DDC is well aware of but switching from the industry standard bottle to any other bottle is quite expensive I don't think they need to switch away from the industry standard bottle. From what people are suggesting, they sho...

I've noticed that the DDC bottles are usually on their last legs? Many of my bottles of Aphrodite are chipped on the base etc. I'm all in favour of reusing bottles, but even Lakeport and the macros seem to be getting better quality empties...

Re: Jenlain

Not sure if anyone has been on the look out for this one. Jenlain Or Biere Blonde. Don't know anything about it but picked it up while passing through Brampton. Haven't seen in out my way in Whitby yet. Picked up a bottle of it at Keele & Steeles LCBO hidden away in a corner along with La Chouf...

Damn. Pretty upset about this one. Got three bottles from Bayview #355 store. Thank goodness I didn't buy the whole case... Many thanks to everyone posting to help flag infected bottles.

Noobie question but how long will this brew last once opened? I noticed once that Beer Bistro sells it by the ounce...Or I think it used to? Would need more than my regular duo to finish that bottle in a sitting...
