In LCBO's today, got mine at St. Clair and Oakwood Ave. I was surprised with the hop level, in a positive way.

Having one right now, quite an inventory at St.Clair/Bathurst LCBO. Very suttle citrus and I agree if I din't know it was citrus I would have thought it was the hops.

Nothing wrong with this brew, so long as you temper expectations.

Cheers !

excellent well balanced with perfect hop bitterness. Wish this would stay, best traditional ale I've had in a very long time.

Very few left at Wilson LCBO :D

Picked up a bottle yesterday at LCBO. Reminded me very much of the Sierra Nevada Stout. Definitely malty, hope this stays around for awhile, not many other excellent Ontario Stout's regularly available.

Re: MacLays Traditional Pale Ale

[quote="habfour"]Saw this for the 1st time at the LCBO. By Sleeman's ? Before buying thought I'd ask if it's worth a try. Not a huge Sleeman's fan.[Gave it a try anyway, I agree it ain't worth it !, very weird "metallic" aftertaste and for sure very, very weak] :(

Has anyone tried it yet? Saw some at the Wilson LCBO today but wasn't sure if "passion fruit concentrate" was worth a try?

pay attention Mill St.

Huge fan of Mill St. from day one. Saying the recipe is the same, is the same as saying "I see and hear no evil". Mill St., pay attention, as you try and expand the empire don't forget what got you there in 1st place. Creemore may be a good example of the brew changing, but let's not forge...

I've had Tankhouse twice in the last couple of weeks and totally agree that there is a difference. Hopefully, some one at Mill St can provide an answer.

Yankee Jim - Big Hole Brewing

Haven't seen this before but picked up a six of cans @ $7 - thought I get a similar drink to Old Milwakee but was pleasently surprised. Not spectacular but decent .
