Piss poor, bland and unimaginative. I would hate to know what it tasted like before the "flavour" from the cask penetrated the beer!

The lcbo site isn't finding any mention of Thornbridges Jaipur in stock, any clues as to why?

when punk was first released it was a superb IPA, however, since Brewdog expanded they now brew their more regular beers elsewhere and as such the results have become inconsistant and their QC needs tightening up in places. I now avoid as i've been burned too often in the past.

If anyone ends up in Scotland then Thistly Cross gets two thumbs up from myself, treat yourself!

If bottled, it's filtered. Cask is unfiltered.

There is a bit of variation IME between bottlings as casks come straight from Traquair House but if bottled then the ale is transported to Stockport from Innerleithen for this process.

First up, apologise for not making the A&L meet last week. Even though it's not that far for me the suns did not align and dark forces conspired against me. Super keen for some meet ups to see whats on tap around the town. Certainly if the A&L could tweet more often about what they've got on...
