Re: Port Huron MI

I had someone pick me up some goods from Wolverine Market and it was a very nice experience. They have all their stock listed on their website and Untapped. Lots of Odd Sides, Epic and other great stuff from Michigan an beyond. You can see what was recently added on Untappd to discern freshness. I ...

Re: Ontario Craft Beer, Imports and Pumpkin Beers at the LCBO (Fall 2019)

I believe it needs to be aged in a LCBO warehouse prior to its release... Goes without saying. I'm pissed about Jai Alai. I know I can just drive to Buffalo if I really want some. But I don't always have that luxury. Aaaaaanyways, just hoping we see a decently fresh iteration of 90 Minute sometime ...

Agreed. It's likely the best Imperial IPA available in stores right now.

Re: Coming Soon to the LCBO

I seem to view Beau's a bit differently than others. Historically I've found that they excel at German (helles, altbier, marzen, kolsch, dunkel, etc.) and session styles (Wag the Wolf, ESB, Irish Stout, Good TIme), and are mediocre at almost everything else, particularly mid-strength IPAs, most Amer...

Re: Bar Volo 2.0

Personally, I found my first visit to be very enjoyable. Sitting at the side of the bar, which seems to be the spot if you want to be at the bar, I received excellent service from all of the staff, and Tomasz in particular. As expected the tap list was superb, rivaled only by Birreria. Got to try Ha...

Re: Munich, Bamberg, Brugge, and Brussels.

Just wanted to thank everyone again for the very useful recommendations. We ended up going to most of the places suggested - both for beer spots and tourist attractions - and had a great time as a result. Bar Towel always comes through, and your help is much appreciated. Cheers!
