hmmm - good question. I've been hearing more about the 10 BY coming to the lcbo, maybe as a bomber, but haven't heard about this in a while

Red house is pretty new, I haven't been yet, but they have a decent craft selection. And I think they had some sort of cask event recently Here's their current beer list: Steamwhistle Red Griffon Labatt 50 (this is kingston after all) Mill Street Organic Guiness Pilsner Urquell St Ambroise Cream Ale...

it's started to show up on lobo shelves - not yet on the computer system, but found a bunch at the laird lobo.

I couldn't be happier about this. I live in East York, and between Amsterdam moving right across the bridge, the Only Cafe, Morgan's, and Sarah's, I'm liking what's going on in the East End. Represent.

actually, it's a lot of fun!

I dunno - some of these beers cost a lot of money, and I personally like to know if the beer I'm buying will be something I like or not, and the type and amount of hops used, the malts and the yeasts make all the difference in the world. I don't like wheat beers with banana or cloves. I do like them...

Never tried it, but there's a local beer style called Kvass: "a low alcohol drink made with fermented rye bread, water, and mint or fruit. Coca-cola now brews a version." The main brand is called Ochakovo, and it tastes like "moderately sweet, grainy soda." Does that sound great ...

the guy from cameron's at the spring beer fest said it takes about a year to get it on the lcbo shelves, so to look for it then. way to build on the momentum!
