Really happy to finally see this list! Lots of good stuff on there. $10.75 per bottle of Choklat might make me into a broke student but screw it. LOL I'm just about getting over all these powerfully chocolatey ST Dark Water Impy Stouts (JahVa and MoKah as well) but damn, they are really something. ...

Checked 2 stores in toronto
I check the Atrium on Bay and Manulife Centre locations for these, according to the website they both have the beer, but both stores thought I was crazy. They'd never heard of this promotion.
If anyone sees these in Toronto, please post which location.

We also hit up Healthy Spirits to pick up some great brew, I ended up taking 18 bottles back with me, most were Wine bottle sized.. some great locals, but mostly belgians.. Even got a bottle that had been aged for 10 years that was pulled out of the back. Really knowledgeable staff. Sounds like you...

The trip was great! The weather, fantastic, especially considering today's -20 temperature, ugh! We did all the touristy stuff we could.. we had a 4 hour delay on connecting flights the first night we were there so I didn't get to the Rogue Ale House - I had planned to go there the first night, and ...

Would have loved to, and maybe next time.. but the gf only has a few days off (and I don't want to go JUST for beer - we'll have to do boring stuff too, like checking out Alcatraz, sober! :P For San Francisco accommodations, check out Joie de Vivre hotels . Their properties are all good quality and ...

Yeah that place looks pretty nice. A little out of the way. I decided to go with a more central location (Club Quarters - in the financial district - seems to be pretty close to everything). I might rent a car for a day to go beer shopping, unless there's a good place right downtown. I hope to make ...

Looks like San Fran might be the winner. I was in Victoria last year and sampled all that Swans had to offer.. BC beer is great, Howe Sound, Tree, Phillips, Granville Island.. Oh man, I want a beer! I agree with all the recos so far. If you want to stay within our borders there's also Victoria. Nice...

Re: New Years travel - please help!
- somewhere in North America - somewhere that is relatively warm (it's f'n cold up here in Toronto, a break from the cold would be nice) - somewhere that has stuff to see/do (a relatively major city - but not crazy, not NY, etc) - MOST IMPORTANTLY: somewhere that has good/great micros or availabili...

I haven't tried cellaring these just yet, but fresh off the shelf this beer is absolutely incredible. In my opinion, the best stout available at the LCBO. It's sweet and malty with hints of molasses.. Wow, just wow. I can't get enough of this stuff. I tried something in a similar vein from Victoria ...
