Re: Finally a good beer spot in Mississauga!

After reading some Google reviews which say the food is pricey I expect the beer to be as well. There are a number of places in Toronto where I can drink craft beer for under $8 a pint after tax, Saying that I will check the place out.

Re: The Craft Brasserie & Grille

Went last night with a friend after watching the Rugby sevens. Huge place and we had to move tables as we were placed close to a group of people celebrating someone's birthday. I had West Avenue Heritage Dry Cider and this is the first time I've had this. I like it but prefer Twin Pines Hammerbent o...

I talked to two craft brewery owners on Saturday and both of them would have preferred that they were allowed to cross sell other Ontario craft beer in their existing stores. I wish that was allowed as well, it will be interesting to see what the grocery stores do. I hope that Whole Foods is allowed...

Because of all this bull sh*t by the big brewers I can't see any political party allowing private craft brewery stores.

I don't think this bar relies on just the FA Cup and other footie matches as they regularly have live bands and that's when it seems to be packed. I've just noticed that most of the patrons are smokers. Perhaps they will be heading out the front door of this bar to smoke when the law changes.

I know of a pub in Mississauga that might go out of business because of this because most of their customers are smokers. It is not a good pub for craft beer but does have Sportsnet World for FA Cup matches that are not on the regular Sportsnet channels.

The Granite ( and other pubs ) should just buy 22 ounce glasses so people would get a full 20 ounce pint. Currently the Granite charges $7.50 for a 18 ounce glass. I'd be willing to pay $7.75 for a full pint. One great thing the Granite does is offer it's ale in pitchers which is the most economical...

The Granite serves a 18 oz "pint" and they state that on their menu cards on the tables. Even though they state it I still would want 2 more ounces of beer, not including head. When I mentioned this to a server she was not impressed. What should happen is if a pub is not serving a full 20 ...

Thanks Mike, I was at Bar Hop a few Sunday's ago and took advantage of their $5 pint special. I plan to go to the Only café one Sunday as they have $5 pints after 5 pm according to a Blog TO article dated Jan. 29. Hope they are still offering that deal. I believe that bars that offer cheaper draught...

There has been a very small increase, but AFAIK it's on the manufacturing side only. From our perspective it is not enough to raise our prices (draught) but we've had to move our packaged up slightly. To be honest, this decision was made to accommodate more than just the tax increase. If your pint ...

I checked out the Feather's website where they list the prices of thier draught beers. Beers that I would like to drink are priced at $6 before tax so I assume that even with tax they would be cheaper than $8.38. Feathers is no where near me but I can get there for $6 return in TTC fare which is doa...
