Re: Why don't brewery taprooms stay open late?

I can't really speak for other breweries, but for my own its a combination of staffing, location, and Family responsibilities. This town rolls the streets up pretty early. It's a bedroom community. If you want late night, uptown Waterloo is pretty close. We have stayed open past 9 or 10 on weekends ...

Re: Ontario brewing cities

Depends on how you look at waterloo region, butmost people lump Kitchener and waterloo into the same city. I know I do, i don't even really know where the borders are and I live here. If so, then you've got: Abe erb Abe erb tannery innocente Brick Short Finger TWB Counterpoint Descendants Red Circle...

Re: F&M was sold, and are no longer F&M

Sleeman makes 1.5 million barrels per year. They are one of the biggest breweries in the country. Bigger than founders, and about the same size as Sierra Nevada. They are also putting in a taproom soon, and renovating their entire retail space to make it more of a destination than a beer store. But ...

It'd be like a 1km walk from Mcmaster. Maybe 15 mins. Grain and Grit is going to open pretty much next door as well.

Re: Block Three Brewing St. Jacob's

All that being said, they have a new brewer, so I'd imagine there may be some differences now. Sup guys. I am Kevin Freer, and j believe I am the new brewer being eluded to in that statement, although we do have two other brewers working under me, as head brewer. Block Three brought me on six month...

Sup everyone. This is Kevin Freer. First off who the hell are all you folks that know me ha-ha. We most certainly will be providing pubs and bars with both bottles and draught, as well as a possible home delivery/beer club type setup we are working through the legalities of. The stuff coming out in ...

Re: Together We're Bitter

Reviving old threads I know, but there is some talk of my region and im late to the party. I too really like black swan. Their beers are all good-great. The berliner and IPA in particular are pretty darn fantastic. Plus Bruce the owner is a cool guy. Very homebrew esque approach to it all, and it ki...

Re: Becoming a Brewer

Hey I'm a brewer at wellington, and only a casual lurker of this board. I can tell you with some certainty that we do not have any openings at the moment, but certainly keep resumes on file. Sucks that it's getting colder, and into the slow part of the year, but with the expansion we are working on ...

not so much an order but a trade for Beaus?

Hey all I'm new to the forum so forgive me if this is mislfiled. I'm located in Hamilton and it's very difficult to get beaus out here, let alone any of there seasonal releases. I'm wondering if anyone wanted to work out a trade for their seasonals. Basically I've only had Lug Tread and am looking t...
