The Goose Island stuff is in several locations now - quite a lot of stock as well. The Sofie is an amazing beer - so I'm excited to see it here.

Bar Volo IPA Fest

I'm pretty excited for this one - I've also got a single ticket to the evening session that I need to sell (bought it before finding out I'd be judging). Just looking for face value for it.

PM me if interested.

Any idea of how much of each of the Dupont beers came into Ontario. They were showing as available yesterday at two stores and both had none of them today... just wondering if it's only trickling out or if I've already missed them?

They're the real deal - they're available at events in NYC from time to time and the stuff they make is incredible. Their barrel-aging program is turning out some top-notch material and they know their way around the hop as well. You won't be disappointed.

I've got one ticket for admission to the early bird session and because I'm flat out at work I'm going to be unable to attend. Any takers? Email me at

Granville generally implies that their seasonal specials are brewed at their original brewery on Granville Island. I guess that's true... they're just not brewed exclusively there! This is true, but their IPA started out as a special release at the Granville Island location before production was mo...

Groupon for Beer event

Bought this without realizing I'd be out of town for work that night. Just looking for face value of it, either cash or beer.

This was a very fun time. What was surprising is that very few of the beers were outright terrible but very few were really standouts either. I haven't gone back yet to unblind the samples I did, but my favourites from round 1 were #7, #11, #20, #22. The judging panel was pretty fun and it was great...
