Re: New Glarus beers?

I don't know who to reach out to, I'm the lone craft beer drinker in my circle of friends. It's terrible!

But, in case anybody ever discovers this thread by mistake and sees this, I am definitely interested :)

cheers!

Re: New Glarus beers?

Holy smokes..

Only adds to the allure, no doubt..

I've got some "youthful indiscretions" on my record unfortunately.. let's just say America isn't 420-friendly and hasn't allowed me across the border, lol.

Damn.

Thanks for the information regardless though !!

New Glarus beers?

Self confessed fruit beer fanatic. Drank Fruli on draught last night on a patio, and loved every sip. Not ashamed in the slightest. One of my highlights of a trip to PEI was the Gahan wild blueberry ale fresh from the brewpub. So yesterday I discovered a Top Rated section in Untappd, and sorted by f...

Re: Fruit, flowers, and spice beers are underrated and deserve more respect

Damn, their system lied to me! They have an interactive touchscreen interface thing at the store itself, and it shows the stock in real time.. and it was zero. The one employee says it's sold out almost everywhere, none left in Brampton and only 3 cans at Dixie and Dundas in Mississauga Bummer! I di...

Re: Fruit, flowers, and spice beers are underrated and deserve more respect

Hmm, no luck. A search for "broadhead" on TBS dot ca yields only something called a dark horse stout Where did you see it? Edit - found it via Google. Heading to Heartland Town Center this aft to get both the blueberry blonde at TBS and the raspberry uber at LCBO Going to be perfect for ou...

Re: Fruit, flowers, and spice beers are underrated and deserve more respect

If you're going out East, look for Pumphouse Blueberry Ale. It's one of the few fruit beers I can think of that's pleasantly sweet and straightforward, rather than the complex sours and saisons that are popular these days. Hey Craig, I am leaving for east coast August 1st. Any suggestions on where ...

Re: Prince Edward Island

Glad I found this, our annual 2 weeks summer vacation in the east coast takes us through PEI this time and I was hoping there would be something worthwhile there

What's the pub situation like there? What hours are last call? Any bars that stay open late? I like to go until 3am

Darn, I've actually never tried a Bellwoods beer, ever. I spend my time between Brampton, Montreal, and Windsor.. Never downtown Toronto unfortunately

Wouldn't have a clue on how to go about getting some off somebody, but I'll happily buy it if the opportunity ever comes up

Re: Fruit, flowers, and spice beers are underrated and deserve more respect

A couple of my favourite beerz this summer have been fruit beers. Starting with grandmas boy, I can't think of anything that would make that beer any better. I'm enjoying the unibroue raspberry ephemere(from tbs mixer pack). I'm regularly buying royal city Habiscus and the nickelbrook uber is great...

Re: Fruit, flowers, and spice beers are underrated and deserve more respect

Thanks very much for the post. Do you know any that are readily available at the LCBO? I'm going to google the two you mentioned now I've been trying to find the Forgotten Lake Blueberry Ale but it's not available near me. Blueberry beers are amazing with pancakes, maple syrup, and bacon while campi...

Fruit, flowers, and spice beers are underrated and deserve more respect

Hey folks.. I will start by saying I know this is going to be extremely unpopular. Most fruit beers get crucified on the rate beer type websites - but I don't actually care and I don't judge my beers based on popular opinion.. Unlike the rest of the beer expert population, I actually love a Fruli on...

Bitburger, Radeberger, Czechvar, Warsteiner, and similar

I have a question.. Now that it is public knowledge that almost ALL major macros are using additives like sweeteners and HFCS, I want to know how the European counterparts fare.. What I mean is; the 4 beers I listed in the topic are very safe (and IMO solid) choices in the session category, but the ...
