Re: Bellwoods Brewery

Barn Owl 3 was my least favorite of the 3 so far. I found it all peach and not much else. That said, I find Jelly King to be a phenomenal dry hopped sour. I also was lucky enough to try the new Grandma's Boy at the Bellwoods beer dinner at Brux House last week and it's going to blow peoples minds. ...

Re: Bellwoods Brewery

I have been cleaning up the cellar so as to better keep track of what I have, and I found a couple bottles of Farmageddon Batch 8 (May 2015) that got lost in the mess. I've never sat on any of this for this long before. Before I crack one open, I was wondering what experience people have had aging ...

Re: Bellwoods Brewery

I like Skeleton Key.....is this the 3rd time they've released it? I think they had some back in november when I was out of the country....but can't recall. Bounty Hunter was another tasty one. Not the first time they've dropped prices either... this is the second time AFAIK. it's been on tap there ...

Re: What're you drinking right now?

Drinking a Black Sheep from New Limburg Brewing in Nixon, Ontario. Just opened a few weeks ago. Specializing in Belgian styled beers, this one is a milk stout and doesn't really fit the Belgian thing, hence the name.

Decent stuff so far. Check then out if you're in the area!

Re: Bellwoods Brewery

I just need more skeleton key. Drank my last bottle last week and was pretty bummed when it was gone with no hints at a future release . I could use more lambda too! They posted a photo quite some time ago of the spice mixture used in Skeleton Key with brief announcement of it being brewed on that ...

Re: ISO: Warp & Weft

Bumping this one and dropping the "Mule" as the beer is now sold out. Had a deal worked out but due to a messaging snafu with Bar Towel private messaging the deal fell through. I'm looking for anyone that might be interested in setting up an IP trade involving a bottle or 2 of W&W. As ...

ISO: Warp & Weft

Greetings! I'm looking for someone that is heading to Bellwoods Friday that is only planning on picking up 2 bottles of W&W for themselves that wouldn't be opposed to grabbing a pair for me as well. I can pay up front (email $ transfer) and we can make arrangements later for exchange OR I've got...

What is Motley this year? I haven't heard anything other than a couple hints that were dropped in a newsletter. "1. The blend includes barrels in their 3rd year of age, and 2. We made about triple the quantity of last year. We're hoping this last factor will help to keep it on the shelves for ...
