Just opened an Achel 8 Bruin bought long ago at the LCBO. The date stamp is 06/11/15, not sure if that's bottle or best before, but it's a nice treat. Tasting much better than the Rochefort of similar vintage.

Never heard of these guys, are they any good?

Right near Matron in Bloomfield (yes, everything in Bloomfield is close to one another). A nice stop for hop heads in Prince Edward County. Also does delivery at $10 a case. Maybe not quite on par with Blood Bros or Badlands, but decent for sure.

Kingston Brewing Company make a light beer called Yardwork. A hoppy blonde ale, it's perfect IMO. Not sure how available it is outside of Kingston though.

The news is all "increased chance" or "X number times more likely". Yes, I know alcohol is not good for me, but don't tell me I'm 5 times more likely to get cancers that I had like next 0 chance of getting without. Really, I'm more concerned by my sugar intake more than the alcoh...

They also purchased Stone City in Kingston and rebranded it.

Agreed, AMF is in the not bad category. Probably will improve as they dial it in, but not there yet. Right around the corner from Matron, which is a nice stop.
