I digress. I also apologize for my comments. Even though the phrase was used with tongue firmly planted in cheek; the word in question - in this (or any) regard - is obviously unacceptable. I'll even go as far to apologize to Rabbit, who obviously fired the first salvo my way. Your taste in beer obv...

Rabbit, I won't get into an battle of wits with you regardng your obvious penchant for insulting one's class. I will say however, that I still stand by my initial review of this "great beer". This is my opinion, which I have left on a forum of beer reviews. Perhaps if you can afford it, we...

Hours for Smokeless on Fridays

Does anyone know what time smokeless opens on Friday?

Many thanks.

What a difference a day makes.

Hook Norton Haymaker....very nice... The head last for about 4 seconds, but a wonderful ale none the less.

London Pride> this was very nice. It also had a nice thick long lasting head and wonderful aroma.

It is my honor, nay , my duty to try every beer on the planet. :-) I will look out for those suggestions and report back here my thoughts. In the meantime; I will enjoy my Belgian Beers. I might head back to smokless this weekend and enjoy a pint or two of english ales (in between my Rocheforte beer...

They have perhaps the worst service on the planet -from the waitresses.

If you sit at the bar, you will get good service - but god help you if you go in for a quick lunch at a table.

If there are any recommendations you have, I'll be willing to give any a try.

Cooperrs Pub on Dundas..

About 30 beers on tap, although nothing too mindblowing.

They have Cafferys, boddington, harp, strongbow, guiniess, smithwicks, and some other imports....

No belgians to be seen though...

Advertised as:

Rich in Flavour - yet light in colour.

As for the 'eye' comment...:-)

In all truthfullness - it seriously tasted like someone spiked my beer with petrol.

Hopefully I am not as disappointed with the rest of the spring collection.

the bad and the ugly - my reviews from the spring LCBO

1st> Summer Lightning. Pours with a decent head. Aroma leaves much to be desired. Taste is bitter and uninspriring. 2nd>St Peters summer ale. Should be renamed St. Sunoco - for it's gasoline aftertaste. This looked nice out of the bottle- yet it was a darker colored ale than advertised. I actually p...

Oh yes.... sorry I wasn't quite sure of the etiquette. I tried La Trappe - But i wouldn't say it was a trappist. I have been trying to call Esprite for weeks. No one is ever there and the voice mailbox if full. I would love to pick up a case of rocheforte 8.... I have tried Smokeless Joes and Beire ...
