I do find it hilarious that some moron thought I actually lived in Detroit and got mad at LCBO for letting me buy that many and ship it out of country.

I've seen that guy post in here before....not that that is a confirmed order, just someone being a troll.
Just showing folks that I was able to add them to my cart. Did not attempt checking that amount out.

Brew Box service

Thoughts?
Feedback?

Looking for feedback on this service from fellow Ontarians.
I have my own experience but am curious if anyone else has something overtly negative or positive to report.
Cheers.

Re: NYT article

Ya, not something I do anymore. The earliest I've gotten in a line for beer was Kuhnhenn's Winter Solstice several years ago. There at 5. Sales and pours started at 9. Great time. I've done the Hoof Hearted thing a few times. Its a blast. In the middle of the countryside. We have tickets and an allo...

Re: Bellwoods Brewery

actually, I like to think that I don't have any bias, good or bad, towards any brewer. I only have a bias towards, good or bad, beer. heck, I used to rant and rave about nickelbrook and headstock... then, it became, in my opinion, crap (I'll buy one every couple of months to see if the magic is bac...

Re: Bellwoods Brewery

I just tasted the draft version of 3 Minutes to Midnight at Hafis rd this afternoon and I officially have no idea what people are talking about with regard to it being a "hot boozy mess" or something. No alcohol burn to speak of, no medicinal cherry flavor, good barrel character but not o...

Re: LCBO Online Exclusives

we already have enough Ontario breweries that have opened based on belief and not facts. if you're patient enough, you'll see how accurate your belief was, since I expect lots of these breweries' cans to be collector items come 2018 I thought we'd start to see more dying off by now too....so it mak...

Re: LCBO Online Exclusives

You guys make this too complicated... I think GLB is still the best example, not some tiny new startup brewery. If they are willing to sell through the LCBO at whatever cost that is...they should absorb the extra cost of AMEX direct sales as well. Because I BELIEVE they'd make more profit off that ...

Re: Half Hours on Earth

The online ordering and shipping is a game changer for HHOE and the rest of the province if other breweries follow suit.

I highly enjoy most of their stuff. Not particularly farmhouse season so I'll likely place another order in the spring.

Re: Belgium

Reviving an oldish thread as I was fortunate enough to have a work trip to Paris that coincided with Zwanze Day. So I flew in a day early to Brussels and hit Cantillon and then Moeder Fontainas for Zwanze celebrations. Met up with some folks at Cantillon via another beer forum (not BA, not RateBeer)...

Re: Detroit

Was just in Detroit for about an hour on my way to Cleveland. Jolly pumpkin is still great in an extremely gentrified area. Place was packed at 3pm on Saturday but the bar cleared out by the time I was gone. It usually has something to do with sports, but no Michigan games were being played on tv. ...

Re: Bellwoods Brewery

Didn't see any social media announcements but Bellwoods has 2 new beers in the shop - Mango IPA and Sour Petite Saison. They are $5.50 and $5, respectively. Edit: Just tried them myself. The Sour Petite Saison is very light, not overly sour but easy drinking. The Mango IPA is very juicy (citra hops...
