I have had 2XIPA many times, and do find the recent bottles picked up at the LCBO a bit more subtle then what i have had in the past. Still a great brew but less kick.

I love DIPA's that are 100+ ibu, bitter forward (ie ruination) and would love to see this brewed again. Sorry i didnt visit all the rating sites and read every post....i just noticed a few comments regarding this beer being off balanced. For a beer like this in Ontario its a shame it will be buried ...

I really wish Taps would update thier 'selection currently on tap' on their web page...its atleast 2 years old. I would visit more if i knew there was a new beer being tapped. I accidently had Choke Slam at the Winking Jugde, not even knowing who brewed it due to the tap handle being so small. Since...

I agree with dutchcanuck.....

BTW Coles just tapped 10 different Rogue brews yesterday...I find most Rogue beers over rated and over priced. 2 cents.

See above, all good advice. I just want to add Wegmans to the list for bottle shops (Niagara Falls one has the worst selection). Orchard Park location has a large selection. Both Consumers and Village Beer Merchant have growler fill stations. Go to VBM's facebook page to see what is currently on tap...

We currently have a blow off tube, with whirlwind action inside the carboy.....its exciting, as we did not k...

Rookie question

This friday I will be brewing my first home brew, a basic pale ale (5gal). I have all the gear including a 5gal glass carboy. Just last night i measured the volume of the carboy and 5gal is right up to the neck. I will upgrade to a 6gal. in the future. Question: Will the 5gal cause me any problems f...

I find that DFH is currently very scarce even in Buffalo. I was at Village Beer Merchant in mid Jan and all they had was some old burton baton, and My Antonia. The retailer didnt know if or when the distributor would be back. Last week my wife was at Wegmans and all they had was 3 6ers of 60min (bot...

yeah, I looked at the Discovery.ca schedule and it said that it was to air Monday (again) at 10:00pm, then again Tuesday at 11:00am and 4:00pm (an hour and a half ago). All 3 time slots aired an auction show (shaw). Brewmasters was not on standard or high def. I have a few DFH beers in the cellar an...
