Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). The Tankhouse does have a "brewed on" date stamped on the bottle - just got to look a little harder cuz of the colour of the glass. Get out your reading glasses;-) Tank is my session beer and I have yet to notice a change in the hoppiness. As for the nitrogen - I called them and there has ...

Just wanted to give a heads up about Magpie at 831 Dundas W. It recently changed hands and now has 4 of taps as OCB. They're carrying CHurch Key's Holy Smoke, Stratford Pilsner, St. Andre, Cameron's Auburn and the only non-OCB is St. AMbroise Stout. The vibe there has become warmer and more relaxed....

There is a bigger more dramatic story to the departure of John but I figure it doesn't much matter right now.

Don't Fret.... The Cloak will be open again in a couple of weeks. John is no longer the owner but it's been bought by Brent who has been managing there for a while.
