Re: What're you drinking right now?

I enjoyed a thoroughly tasty weekend thanks to fellow member Boney! Friday was an outstanding can of Hopslam, which I forgot was 10% and had me wondering why I was feeling so sleepy when I finished... Saturday was another bright DIPA called Rico Sauvin from Against the Grain, love those hops!

I'm in Windsor this week, and will likely be down here off and on over the winter months... Let me know if anyone wants to meet for a pint somewhere, if there is a somewhere for craft in Windsor? ;) And at least you guys have a fairly well stocked LCBO! And the special releases actually seem to stic...

Well I guess this brewery opening is much farther off than I thought. I was under the impression that they were already dealing with red tape and logistics, I didn't realize he was still trying to secure investors... Although I suppose $1m isn't the full startup amount, and he already has other fund...

Newer bottles have them printed on the label dot matrix style, so it's hard to read. My local store finally just sold out of the original April release, and the freshest I've seen were the G bottles at Dundurn yesterday, and I think those are from July... Too bad they did that one huge release at th...

I'm not sure if the hop profile is the same (Rhyme uses citra, chinook, centennial & simcoe), but I had one immediately following a week old bottle of Naughty Neighbour last night and found the Rhyme to be more flavourful, but not quite as bitter up front as the Neighbour. The Rhyme has a nice b...

Collective Arts Rhyme & Reason.

I'm really loving this beer, big juicy hop flavour with a satisfying lingering bitter finish.

session 1 was excellent. can't say enough good things. +1. My only recommendation is that more washrooms/porta potties are needed to cut down on the lines. Also, having to wait 25 minutes in the rain to get inside wasn't the greatest, and obviously cut into our drinking time. More front door staff ...

I think I've seen it on BarHop but am not sure if it's the same. The description in the bottle seems like a different beer from what I remembe...

My basement had some metal shelves already in place, so I just used those... Here's a picture from 2011, and a new one from today. Still have a few of those Orval, St. Bernie, vintage ales & Quads around too ;) https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-2on_-UCXTHA/TVsEfu0k7kI/AAAAAAAACEA/MfhuaHjwH4g/w9...
