Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Unless it's just about giving it enough time for the source Lambics to fully blend and get to know each other, ...

When you say it's already 2 years old, what does that mean exactly? The descriptions online say it's a blend of a 4 year old Boon lambic with another Lambic from 2008.

The secularists fought long and hard to get a secular state, so they'll riot over pretty much any government action that they think is a step towards religion. I'd be in that boat. Both there and here. Yeah, but it's not a serious worry here. I don't think we'll see the clerics taking over Parliame...

Turkey is a very different place than Canada. Their population is a mix of people who are proudly and adamantly secularist and people who are devout Muslims who favour religious law. The secularists fought long and hard to get a secular state, so they'll riot over pretty much any government action t...

Does the LCBO website ever update during the day? I don't think I've ever noticed stock change as the day went on.

It's pretty sad, actually. Putting together a system that reflects real-time stock levels isn't very hard.

Well, I don't think it's so much "The LCBO" that's allowing it as it probably is just some random working holding a case for a friend. Which probably shouldn't be/isn't allowed, but whatever. True. My real point is that (to my knowledge) the LCBO has specifically prohibited stores from do...

Atrium told me all but 6 got snagged by one person first thing this morning. The other 6 are held.

Manulife just told me it was on their second shipment today, so it wouldn't be unpacked until 3 or so. I asked if they would hold some for me, they said no.
