Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

Unfortunately, Liquid Art doesn't seem to be listed under "Collective Arts Brewery" so I can't help there.

I got it at Queen & Coxwell, but it's pretty much all over.

Re: Doug Ford

Doug Ford as Premier doesn't scare me as much as the hydro bills I've received since returning from five years out of the country. She's as dead as the raccoon I saw on the side of the road this morning. Unless there's a proposal to cut the cost of hydro generation, which the conservatives do not h...

Re: LCBO Delivery Time

It's not always the store. I went I three days after I got a shipping notification once and my local spent 20 minutes searching in the back for it despite it not showing in their system. It arrived a few days later.

Re: Mondial...

I used to go to this every year, but I got bored with the samish lineup every year. Three Floyds, Jester King and Crooked Stave is pretty good though.

It's wooden tokens every year. I don't know if they change the pattern on them or something, but I doubt anyone would notice. You can probably use them next year.

Re: Radical Road Brewery

So it seems like these guys are flexing their creative muscles a lot more than they used to. The tap list right now has two sours, a Brett, a cucumber mint Kolsch, a pale ale with fruit and an IPA made using Cavitation. Pretty great for a place that seats like 30. The raspberry sour they have on rig...

Re: Buffalo NY - what to see and explore?

Yup! Craft beer corner I think they call it. About 8 taps that are all NY craft, last time I was there. I had about three 5$ pints of Flower Power when I was there, iirc.

Pearl Street is probably your best bet.

Re: Grand River Brewing

I'm not in the know on stuff like this, but doesn't 1.1 million for a brewery of that size, with all the equipment installed, seem a little low?

Re: Buffalo NY - what to see and explore?

Premier probably has the largest selection, but if you want a place you can go in and chat with the staff and whatnot, you might like Consumers or Village Beer Merchant.

Re: What are you UnCellaring right now?

My general take on sours, provided you mean really sour and not funky Bretts, is they cellar just fine, but don't really improve any. There's no heat to mellow out or harsh egress to take off, nor do they gain anything from Sherry like oxidation notes.

Re: LCBO Summer 2018 Craft Beer Release

Hennepin has been around several times, and was available in kegs around Toronto for a few years in a row. I'm not sure if the kegs ever really left, actually.

It's a nice Saison. I prefer DuPont, but I pretty much prefer it to everything.

From the sounds of it no. They launched a separate brewery that is also going to brew a different single beer.
