Re: LCBO Online Exclusives

I have a hunch Keep6 has decided not to sell through LCBO anymore. What's the source of this hunch? The LCBO online shop routinely has problems, I'm guessing that's behind the change in stock/listings. I sent an email to HelloLCBO and mentioned Dunham. Regarding Dunham they said: "It looks lik...

Mine too. For good reason, it's wrong about a quarter of the time.

Re: Witchstock 2018

Those are pretty reasonable responses for the most part. I'm still a bit skeptical about how effectively some of those considerations will get implemented but maybe Im just a cranky pants :) They have at least considered that stuff which is a good start. We shall see! I think everyone can agree tha...

Re: Bar Hop King vs. Bar Hop Brewco...

On the whole, I've had better drinking and dining experiences at the King Street location, and enjoy the atmosphere a bit more as well. The only drawback is that it can be difficult to get a seat at the bar, since the place is always packed. My preference is King, but you'll have an easier time fin...

Re: Bar Hop King vs. Bar Hop Brewco...

King is smaller, brewco is newer, so a little nicer, much larger and has a rooftop patio. The menus are different, but not so different that it really matters. They're also walking distance apart, so why not try both?

Re: Witchstock 2018

Sounds really good, but they are not messing around with that price tag. 120 (probably what, 150 after the taxes/fees?) for a three hour event is steep. It was $45 last year, though you had to buy tokens after that. Also worth noting that last year they limited it to 350 people per session, this yea...

Re: Downtown Toronto LCBO’s

Yeah, Coxwell is my local. I wonder sometimes if they're right to get as much beer in as they do. KBS, for example, has been sitting on the shelves there for ages.

Re: Downtown Toronto LCBO’s

Didn't the Beach get a nice LCBO just a couple of years ago? I haven't been in, but it looks.... Shiny.

Re: Downtown Toronto LCBO’s

Summerhill is still your best bet, but the beer selection has gotten better in most LCBOs to the point where you might not really care. Inventories are online, so you could just look ahead and see if a closer one has what you're looking for. Heck, you could order online in advance and have it shippe...

Re: LCBO Online Exclusives

So disappointed...I was online at 8:00, but didn't check that fervently. Agreed on the lottery system and introduction of captchas. Seems strange for something like beer, but there was a time when they had special beers through Vintages, so why not? Any recommendations for great saisons within reac...

Re: LCBO Online Exclusives

I prefer lotteries in general to the wait until a specific time and race everyone else to checkout first.

Stone city has a sour on at Barhop 1 right now. They're on there and Volo from time to time.

Unfortunately, Liquid Art doesn't seem to be listed under "Collective Arts Brewery" so I can't help there.

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

Pretty sure it's this one:

I got it at Queen & Coxwell, but it's pretty much all over.
