We now have rochefort 8/10, st berny 12, orval, chimay blue, all available at the same time. It's good to see lcbo listen more to customer demand. The landscape is a lot rosier than 4 yrs ago.

Let's turn more of these into regular releases.

st bernardus 12 re-appearance?

It's my fault, I kinda loafed on this one and now it's all gone. Since it wasn't tied to a seasonal release, will it be making a re-appearance in a few months akin to Rochefort 8/Chimay Blue? Who is handling their account now? Is it no longer Peter? I still have a few 330ml bottles from 2010. but it...

oast makes tasty for Ontario local brewery beers, they're def better than most but not $12 for a bomber good. Harvest Ale is the only Muskoka brew I like. It is overpriced but at least not as crazy as Winter Beard. I remember it was $6.95 in the first couple of years of release? Before their "h...

The zwanze was a huge disappointment, really nothing to write home about. The gueuze was ROCKING, so damn good. overall some great beers available to try. Really enjoyed both Hopenstark and the DDC solstice d'ete. Hope to see the latter in bottles at lcbo one day. I never checked but how many tokens...

I quite like this one, a special order reject I gather. I recommend someone w/ a car to pick this up if they haven't had it before.

Not missing much, red racer is much better imo. I haven't even had red racer on tap, but racer 5 on tap is nothing special. Also their stupid lawsuit left a sour taste in my mouth.

all I can say is wow, this is the best sour I've ever had.

bear in mind I haven't tried any of the mythical rare cantillons yet, just the more readily available cantillons at beer bistro.

wow.........going back to buy more of these, can't wait to age them.

after being denied by multiple stores on the elyssian and latitude I went to Liberty Village armed w/ the codes. Turns out I didn't need them as the cashier had no problems putting them through w/o codes. I don't know what they do but each time I've seen them do it, it appears they're pressing a key...

Not sure if they have them still but I had a bottle at Bellwoods for $30 in the summer. Go there if you really want to try it. This whole frenzy thing is a bit ridiculous. A good beer indeed but St Bernardus 12 is equally good. This makes for an interesting case of behavioural analysis. I def enjoye...

Went Sunday, was bummed all the out of province beers advertised were basically gone. Pretty much all the beer I wanted to try were sold out, and I arrived pretty early on Sunday. Still a great event but they should definitely plan better by reserving a set amount of beer for each session. A person ...

Restricting sales to licensees

Is this allowed by head office or is this simply done by store managers to appease bar owners/restaurateurs. I understand these guys drive up sales for a location, and a store manager's performance is based on sales. It makes no sense to show lots of availability of a product on the website but only...

Yup, they do, menu by Guy Rawlings of ex-cowbell, hoof, delux, lucien and a gang of other places. Enjoyed the crispy beef dish a lot. I have to agree and say the best beers were the DIPA and dubbel. Although my friend raved about the cuvee, which was done I assume by the time I checked it out yester...
