Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

So, the obvious next question arising from the past page or so: who exactly is buying these overpriced beers? The same yuppies that buy overpriced Beau`s and Muskoka beers. Paying for the bottle because it is nice to have a centerpiece on the table. Personally, I`ve always enjoyed paying for what i...

Lots of current RPA at my liquor store in Hamilton. We don`t sell a lot of craft but I have tripled the section and it now includes Tempest, Holy Smoke, RPA, Boneshaker to name a few. I am telling folks about the RPA and they are coming back for it every time.

Any openings at LCBO corporate for playlist manager? You can phone the infoline and give them requests. Believe it not, they do take them into consideration as that is how some of the songs have shown up. Proving, again that people in all walks of life have too much time. Though what am I saying, I...

It is against CRTC laws for the LCBO(and any government organization) to play any public radio stations in their stores or buildings. We aren`t even allowed to have radios on in the back room unless it if privately owned cds or something similar playing. None of things rings true to me. Sounds quee...

Thanks Len, for the info and the recommendation. I had no idea. Glad there is stuff on there you like but the repetition must drive some people nuts by the end of the month? (edit spelling) You are most welcome. If the songs are good overall for the month, they are spaced far enough apart, and ther...

I believe Michael has just consolidated his business model and downsized, as he already owned that space, but I believe it was called Fingers Bar and Grill or some such thing. I haven't been in that side of the building, but that is where the food came from if you were eating while in Chester's prop...

This is good to know. Lisa likes to go for a beer from time to time, and she chooses to go to The Ship or The Judge, I simply cannot deal with it.

Perhaps this can be an alternative provided tyhe food is good. Thanks for the info.

Given that Stratford is seen as the cultural and culinary epicenter of Ontario (at least that is what I gather), I was always surprised that the craft beer scene there never really "took off", so to speak. Back when I was a beer drinker,I recall a time when I tried, in vein, to visit the S...
