Re: Eastbound Brewing Co. - Queen & Broadview
Went on Sunday since they finally started selling their own beers. Did a flight, left out the saison. Flights are four beers. I had the hefe, APA, IPA and porter. The hefe was very weak. I've brewed better wheat beers. The APA had some character and I liked it. Nice aroma and flavour. The IPA was no...

Re: Beers at Skydome for Blue Jays Game
It's still Skydome to me. Same with the O'Keefe/Hummingbird Centre, Molson Amphitheatre. Meh.
Looks like it'll be Goose Island then.

Beers at Skydome for Blue Jays Game
What's the situation on easy availability of decent beers at Skydome for a Blue Jays game? Mill St and Goose Island I presume? Are they or whatever else available at all or most kiosks? We'll be up in the 531 section.

Re: Bandit Brewery
Having previously been twice and not being terribly impressed, I've gone back one more time recently within the last month to try their hibiscus beer. A friend wants a clone. Suffice to say I hated that beer but I don't like hibiscus so that wasn't unexpected. I did try their other beers again and I...

Make the hike up to the Danforth and go to the Wren. Lake Inez is their sister restaurant I believe, but I've never been. Always wondered how the food is at Wren, really great looking place and nice servers and customers (making it virtually an emblem of the new east Dan thing) but never ate there....

Re: Beer in Grocery Stores
We're finally getting some places downtown stocking beer and cider, not that we really needed it but the convenience is nice. I've been pleasantly surprised at the decent selection of all the places so far.
It's idiotic about the time restrictions on purchasing.

Looking forward to getting my hands on some Moonlight. I've never tried it but I am a mead fan.
Best local offering has been Church Key's Purple Loosestrife Mead. So delightfully delicious!

http://www.blogto.com/eat_drink/2017/03/toronto-brewery-launching-canadas-first-ever-cocktail-beer/ no. just...no. nothing about this beer makes it related to an Old Fashioned. needs to be bourbon barrel aged. would need orange zest in it or ahtanum hops for an orange vibe. needs herbs to give it t...

Re: Radical Road Brewery
Went there for the first time back in December 2016. The food smell was quite nice though we had other eating plans elsewhere. I only had the yuzu pale ale which I thought was quite tasty. I don't get out to Leslieville often but when I do, likely for Descendants pizza, I'll probably stop in at Radi...
