Re: Coming Soon to the LCBO

Speaking of the GoT series, any idea when we might see the Valar Dohaeris (tripel) at the L? I think it was released last fall. Last one was about a 6 month lag between release by brewery and release by LCBO, so I would expect to see the tripel in next couple months, and the new one releasing in Ma...

Growlers at LCBO

Hoping that the mention of Growlers at the LCBO is actually going to mean growler fill stations setup.

I could see this being great for local craft beer if they allow the taps to switch up fairly often. Also gives more flexibility in trying to get in special US and other releases in kegs.

If you do decide to go with apple, check out their refurbished models. These are refurbished by them, and everytime I have purchased one, it has looked and acted like new.

This site tracks the availability from the apple website, and lets you see the discounts:

If a party or a political group really wanted to make an actual election issue over this, it would seem to me that the better tactic would be to forget about beer, but to make a campaign promise to outlaw corporate/union political donations (which are legal in Ontario, but not federally). Because h...

I have some bottles of the 2007 and 2008 Thomas Hardy's ale, as well as Mikkeller Monk's Elixer (about 2 years old).

Send me a PM if any of those interest you.

I have been short on time and late in trimming mine back. This is how my cascade plants were looking about a week ago. Had hoped to clean up the rhizomes this year, as the 6 original plants are going all over the place now. Its why our annual wet hop IPA ends up being called Hop Bush IPA http://i.im...

The whole social responsibility thing is a huge scam. I think there is probably a significant portion of LCBO employees who push it with the idea that only a trained LCBO employee can safely sell booze. It is crap though I think, because the funny thing is if a bartender sells a kid a drink, or if ...

Thanks!

I had a small kegorator that barely fit 2 corny kegs and a co2 tank inside. While it was great, I ended up selling it and re-purposing our older side by side full size fridge. In the full size, I mount the taps on the door of the fridge, and can fit about 6 corny kegs inside if I keep the gas tank o...
