Hey R+R,

Any chance of some Hop Sun making it's way up here? To me, it's the ultimate summer beer.

Thanks.

Had this last night, and it was a hit with our group. I specifically went to try this, and after the first round everyone was enjoying this lovely brew.

It's definately worth the trip!

R + R,

Any news on when the Hop Sun will be available this year? After ordering a couple cases last year (and it unfortunately being sold out), I'm really hoping to pick some up this year. Although, the Harvest Ale was a great replacement.

Just thought I'd ask...

I went to L3B after Mondial 2 years ago, and it was horrible. Beers were lacking, food was ok and the service left a lot to be desired. I'll give them a shot if/when they open, but just 1.

It was CRAZY cramped in the main hall as you can see from the pic, but there were some other much smaller hallways and alcoves to relax in. We lucked out and had a little area with a table and 8 chairs for our group, right next to the main hall. But there were not a lot of areas like that though. Th...

Rob, where exactly are you located (street address). I'll be out in that area on the weekend and would like to swing by and pick-up some of your tasty beverage!

There is also Ryan's Party Store:

1837 Pine Grove Ave
Port Huron, MI 48060, USA
(810) 982-5051

I haven't been there yet myself, but someone posted on here a while back about it having a good selection, and it being less than 5 min from the border.

99% chance I'm going. It was a great time last year. The tent they set up with US product was great to sample some unfamiliar beers. And those Quebec micros can come up with some wacky beers, like carrot. Of coarse there is the mandatory DDC & Amere a Boire stops...

I'll likely grab a case of the Unearthly, and maybe the IPA.

Any chance at some point (perhaps in June) of getting hold of the Hop Sun?

I'm a big fan of the Unearthly. I also quite enjoy the Hop Sun, so perhaps we can get some items on a private order if the LCBO doesn't come through.

I agree as well. I try to get there once a month. They have a great schnitzel promotion on right now where they have additional varieties available. Their website is here: http://www.londonsource.com/marienbad.php And as Steelback Guy mentioned, a great beer selection. Here is a link to a recent foo...
