I can't believe that anybody would suggest such a discussion.

Our society as a whole benefits from a 5 day work week (some only working 37.5 hours a week), benefits for m...

Glad to hear that news. I don't really care what happens to this event as it is just a corporate, mass marketing charade of a beer tasting event.
Way too crowded and very few good beers on offer. It's nothing more than a university "kegger".

I picked up a bunch of flats this week. This is definitely one of my favs. I prefer the version with cherry, although the "plain" dbl choclate on cask at the victory festival was brilliant as well.

I had the ST Pumking with thanksgiving dinner yesterday. It is unlike any pumpkin beer that I have had before. The aroma and spices are understated and it is a wonderful amber colour. You're right torontoblue, there is an absence of pumpkin. I'll have another bottle to be sure, but as it stands now,...

Great Lakes Pumpkin Ale

This year's version seems to have more allspice and nutmeg. A nice amber colour and finishes a bit peppery. I am glad they increased production levels so we can enjoy it right through fall.

Apparently Amber had too much to drink when she wrote this. I can't believe it made it to "print". I guess the editor was under a rock.

I read josh rubin's piece and thought he was way off the mark on george eagleson's herbal mild. It was the first beer I tried that night and I went back for seconds! I know that some people attending voted it their favorite( not me ). Too bad the article wasn't a little more timely - the monday afte...
