For anyone who missed the Creemore Kellerbier launch at the Victory Cafe on Monday evening (or for those of you that REALLY liked it) the last remaining 50 litres of draught will be on tap tonight at the Victory. Once the keg has been emptied, that will be it.

If the weather holds, the Victory will open at 2:00 P.M. today. Best to call ahead and check if you're hoping to have a pint before boarding the bus.

Neil and I have just booked our tickets for the bus trip. I'm really looking forward to this. I've never actually been to Cole's or Mr. Goodbar before, but I'm always up for a cask festival.

I am pleased to report that we now have over 100 CASK! members.

Actually, I found this year's canned Deuchar's much less pleasing than in the past when it was supplied in bottles. That was my opinion, anyway. Perhaps it was just a bit of an anticlimax for me... it's never going to taste as good as when drawn from the cask in a busy Edinburgh pub, is it? I think ...
