Imperatrice was only ever good in kegs, where it wasn't infected. The Impératrice I had at the pub a while back was pretty good, but it wasn't Barrel-aged IIRC. Damn, I hope my bottle of Bourbon Barrel L'Impératrice isn't infected! 2012 bottles are clearly infected, I’m not sure about the 2016 batc...

I went for the first time this year. Managed a French Vanilla Militia (Group A), so pretty stoked. Other than the weather it was a beautiful event. The music was rather toned down, unlike what I expected, so that was great. Had a nice tour of FFF the night before, that was the highlight for me. Woul...
