Lindeman's Gueuze arrived in Kingston. Not shelved yet but I got 12 out of the back area in a tidy little box. No frigging handle on it and they sure could improve the carrying qualities by making it an old school 2x6 pack but, still, a neat little 12 pack for the stash.

Hi all, Thanks for the comments. They were forwarded and the owner of the Big M in Potsdam has confirmed: "- I have a reset for my beer cooler happening in a few weeks to allow a few craft beers in. "- I'm working on a email to send out with pricing and an up to date inventory. I think fac...

Ian, it is already a grocery store. Long standing family business that is expanding its beer presence. The BBQ sauce selection , for example, is already there. And, again like Gilles, maybe there is the opportunity to get into other areas. I can't wait to hit his place in Gatineau again for the game...

What would be ideal features in a nearby NY beer shop?

I have been asked - not as a paid gig or anything - to help a New York State grocery store I recently visited about 30 miles from the Prescott-Ogdensburg bridge get into selling craft beer and one thing I mentioned was the possibility of sales to eastern Ontario beer fans. They are wiling to take or...

Great Divide Samuri, a rice beer. Odd but, like Spotted Cow, it gives hope for a much maligned grain.

New Craft Beer Shopping in northern NY

Hi all. I hit 2 new stores for me in Potsdam NY yesterday. This college town is about 30 minutes from the Prescott bridge and, in addition to CJ's keg store (which has a reasonable stock) the Big M grocery store is stepping up big time to add more good beer: http://beerblog.genx40.com/archive/2010/o...

Watertown NY Price Chopper

Not sure if this is the right forum but for the eastern Ontarians out there I was over at the Price Chopper in Watertown NY yesterday and they are adding more and more craft breweries to their shelves. I picked up large format Ommegangs ($7.49 for 750 ml) as well as a mixed 12 of Brooklyn and sixes ...

Can that happen out of infection alone? I have only heard of bombs arising from over priming. Have you told the LCBO? Call today as these things are sitting on shelves.
