Anyone else think Bellwoods is out to lunch with their pricing these days? The latest releases for BOYD and Skeleton Key are $20/btl! That's still a 500ml bottle btw.
I used to buy Bellwoods all the time but they've lost me with these crazy high prices for their barrel aged releases.

Re: Godspeed Brewery
For the price, mediocre beers at best but I've only tried the initial 3 offerings (Stout, Dortmunder, IPA). Tasted like homebrew, not much complexity. Was really hoping this place was going to be the Bellwoods of the east end based on who's running the show. Guess they've got a little ways to go but...

Sorry to add onto the "me too" chain but if anyone is looking to get rid of a couple bottles of the 3F or any of the Cascade I'm located close to downtown TO and would be happy to buy a couple.

Re: FT: Blackberry Milkshark
Man you got some cojones posting a beer for trade shortly after it was released! I tried that, didn't work out so well. Apparently blasphemy around here. Haha...you got the wrath of atomeyes, who pretty much comes across as a total douchebag in 95% of his posts here. With the passing away of Peter ...

I guess we got this instead of the Lagunitas Citrusinensis that we were supposed to get [NEW] Lagunitas A Little Sumpin' Sumpin' Ale ($15.30/6 x 355 mL bottle) Love Lil' Sumpin' when fresh, but find it has a limited shelf life of only about 60 days before it becomes average fair. Yeah I don't even ...

But might as well give it away or trade it since it's rare and people want it. That's my 'non Prud'homme Beer Specialist' opinion. 8) Trade and buy and drink what the heck you want, people. You have my permission - and I am a 'BT Legend', LOL. LOL...that was just me trying to add a little levity to...

Re: FT: Founders KBS; ISO: Trillium, Treehouse
[ this gave me a good laugh. so, just a reminder: if you want to trade your KBS, as i suggested above, you are best to do it on another FB page or website. part of the reason why you're getting some groans. you didn't have a plan because you have no idea where to trade it, who to trade it with, etc...

Wow it' s like I threw a piece of meat to a pack of rabid wolves. Calm the f**k down people (Atomeyes). I've never seen so much vitriol over a stupid beer trade offer when a lot worse has been posted in the past. I feel like someone is going to throw a tulip glass at me. To quote Atomeyes, I think ...

Re: FT: Founders KBS; ISO: Trillium, Treehouse or even some "dummy" imported Heady Topper
Well it's aged so I'll consider it. If there's one thing I've learned in all these years of horrible beer trades it's that aged = valuable!

Re: FT: Founders KBS; ISO: Trillium, Treehouse
I'm an Ontario beer geek and I wasn't even close to getting a KBS in the whole piddly 9000 bottles released. I guess if I wanted to drive the better part of 2 hours I could have but this is a huge province and that was a huge overstatement. That said unfortunately TS I have no trillium or Treehouse...
