I have tried one, about a year ago. I remeber it being quite oaky, which gave it some real unique characteristics. It was nice.

Re: Peppered beers

Wellington produced Raked Over Mango Pineapple Habanero IPA . It was available in their Brewery Mix Pack Volume 6 which is virtually sold out. Doesn't seem to be currently available at the brewery. Was there this morning, it’s not available. They're bringing it back. Wellington Brewery Brings Back ...

This one keeps eluding me, did you get it at the LC?

Yep, I imagine it’ll be in all of them very shortly.

Re: Who are the best choices for cider?

As far as I know, Revel and West Avenue are the best of the cideries out there, but I'm not as familiar with them as I am the breweries. Agreed, if your looking for something more unique and interesting. As far as more generic offering go, Thornbury is possibly My fav normal cider. Spirit Tree has ...

They’re almost always a stop for me, on my Barncat runs. Mosiac Smash, and whatever of the “sloth” series they’ve got on, are must gets for me.

Which lagers are worth seeking out right now Sean. I also ordered a 4 of Ice Cold Beer to try Wellington Helles is great, and they’ve got a dry hoped Version of it right now as well Fairweather Donna is available right now and probably the best Pilsner I’ve ever had. If Willibald still has their la...

I hear we are getting Cigar City Marshal Zhukov.. Edited the list below thanks to JaseWescott, a lot of repeats from previous years as always: ONTARIO CRAFT BEERS ... TBD - King Kung Imperial Stout - 473mL ... I don't think that I ever saw this on shelves and it's never been listed online to my kno...

Re: Modern trends

Agreed. I do love a good Hazy ipa....but one a day/night is generally enough for me. I tend to get palate fatigue rather quickly from them. I don’t enjoy sweet things, so pastry stouts are an absolute turn off, and I’m kind of in the middle in the fruited sour thoughts. Gimme a Flanders red any day ...

Re: What're you drinking right now?

Lake if Bays’s Off the grid PA. I’m just gonna say it, this.is.great. Took a chance on it, as I’ve never been a fan of LOB, the red ale is good for what it is, but that’s about as far as my love for them goes. This one is super tropical tasting with tonnes of tangerine and pineapple. It’s got a pina...

Re: Collective Arts

Heads up there’s defective batch of Ransack The Universe going around. Bunch of guys who I chat with every day bought the beer and it’s got tons of chunky separated parts in the pour. LCBO is aware of the problem though and giving gift card receipts no questions asked The last four cans I’ve had of...

Re: Barncat Artisan Ales, Cambridge

Got it, love it. Shoulda grabbed more but I budgeted for North Works as well, a first try for me. The BarnCat stuff was definitely a step above https://untappd.com/user/konflict/checkin/887572029 Agreed, Barncat is a step above, but Northworks are doing some really tasty stuff. Their IPA’s are deli...
