The lcbo sold this last year, but only in select stores, needless to say none of it made its way to Windsor.
While it is a great beer, for me it does not blow the St. Bernardus 12 or the Rochefort 10 out of the water, and at its price point I am going to have to pass. Thanks for the offer though.

Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

The 2 main stores that I usually hit up in Michigan are Holiday Market and Merchant's. I generally find that Merchant's has a bit better selection, but Cloverleaf is literally 2 blocks from Holiday Market, so I can do 2 stops when I make a run. I've only been to Champagne's once, selection was good,...

Would anyone be willing to pick up an extra bottle of the Cognac Barrel and the Dopplebock Bourbon Barrel aged for trade? I would love to try these, but since I'm in Windsor, it is a little too far to drive. I have a pretty decent collection in my cellar and can get a across to Michigan if there is ...

And so I fear as a someone living outside of Toronto that my chances of laying my hands on this will be about the same chance as a pig flying. I think it will be easier to get outside of Toronto to be honest. Sometimes I don't understand their rationale for distribution; I've been told that Windsor...

On a separate note, that Skjálfti is from Iceland!??! That's got to be a new 'tick' for most people out there. I am excited for this one. Last year in Iceland my buddy and I went looking for this brewery and got lost. We were driving on some dirt road in the middle of nowhere and pulled over to ask...

I have a couple family up there. A bigger wasteland for beer you will not find. Windsor? Has to be a close second. Living in Windsor you're way closer to a way better selection of beers than you are nearly anywhere else in the province. Michigan offers not only a plethora of great micro breweries b...
